Primrose Creek supports 375 - 400 households as the

sole source of water.  The creek originates in the vicinity of Solebury Village and converges with

the Delaware River near Phillips Mill, a site which is on the National Register of Historic Places. 

In the colonial period, Primrose Creek was a vigorous stream that powered Phillips Mill.
